Free studio

Drawing, animation editing, scripting and the command API are free. Editable PixelWall and supported sprite files, plus individual PNG, BMP and TGA frame exports, are free. Pro is $15 USD once for animated GIFs, sprite sheets and atlases, game package ZIPs, and saved export presets.

  • Local multi-document storage, recovery revisions, and portable project backups.

Pro ownership — $15 USD once

Pro unlocks animated GIFs, sprite sheets/atlases, game package ZIPs, and saved export presets. Taxes may apply. Checkout runs through Stripe on the hosted storefront.

Save your private PW2 ownership license after purchase. The signed license has no expiry and can unlock the listed features offline in a compatible installed or downloaded app. Keep an app copy as well as the license; purchasing does not promise that the hosted website will run indefinitely.

Earlier valid purchases remain supported. Existing PW1 recovery codes need one online conversion to a PW2 ownership license before they can work offline.

Keep artwork and access separately

A license restores export access; it does not store or restore artwork. Download .pixelwall backups for your documents. Local browser storage is not a cloud account.

Keep the ownership license private. It is a bearer code: anyone with a copy can use the associated access.

Purchase support

Contact contact@caplock.ai for help or a refund request. If the recovery code is lost, include your Stripe receipt number so support can locate and verify the purchase. Never send card details.

Common questions

Do I pay for scripts or the API?

No. Scripting, editing commands, native saves, and individual raster frame exports remain free. Paid export formats keep the same Pro requirement whether called from the UI, API, or CLI.

Does Pro work without the website?

A compatible downloaded app and valid PW2 ownership license can verify the listed Pro features offline. Download and keep both while available.

Will my older Pro purchase still work?

Valid older purchases remain recognized. Restore the original PW1 code online once to obtain its signed offline ownership license.
